between the rain
a door glows warm.
between the days

hangs a neutral space,
stepped to
through the circuit

undone.
the alley bulb
flickered – I finally

broke – two birds arc

out across sky,
chest muscles splay wide,
cells

suck air
long hard and
burn –

two points of love converge.
hands clasp
flat against

humanity, history,
rays of the sun
a wall of legend and fire

reach without a limit
linked towards questions
elliptic –

we thrive in transition.
the windows break open,
fingers flex to press

the apex.
I want more, forever.

I want this
